This restaurant has the best fish and chip anywhere in the United States. (At least the best that I have found). The Cod fish was amazing and just flaked off with a touch of the fork and it was huge, literally hanging over the plate. The service here was great and the prices were fairly reasonable for the quality of food served.

My friend, Elmer, and I eat there several times a year during our smallmouth bass fishing trips. The Firehouse was at one time a working firehouse. The hostesses and wait staff are always friendly and courteous. The stuffed mushrooms are our favorite appetizer. The salads always include fresh ingredients and well as delicious dressing. The Bloody Mary's are exceptional. The interior decorator makes one experience the ambience of an old time fire house. It has three dimensional depictions of infomous fires that destroyed portions of Harrisburg, as well as antiques firehouse related items.

I really enjoyed the NEW Fire House! The food was great, I recommend the Crab Dip (banging). They are a new restaurant opening during the Rona so there were a few growing pains. Here is the hook that will have me coming back, customer service. Every single server, busser, manager and owner that walked by asked if everything was okay? Anything that wasn’t okay, they corrected and made it right! So happy the FH opened back up, same great atmosphere with a new food style. We will be back for sure!

Best Squid I've ever had, accompanied by an amazing tomato sauce. All my friends were really happy with their food. The sweet potato fries are a must try. A nice variety of beers too.... Waiter was great and food came quickly. The place is pretty cool looking! Nice clean bathrooms a plus.

Found this restaurant by accident and I'm really glad I did. The food was excellent. The soup of the day was chorizo orzo which was incredible. Duck cake appetizer was mind blowing. The steaks, which we had the tenderloin and smoked rib eye, were some of the best steaks we've had anywhere. The only negative was that none of the desserts sounded good but maybe that was because the rest of the meal was unbelievable. Firehouse don't you dare change those steaks. I'm a 100 miles away, but I'll be back definitely!

I went here with a larger group and we were able to reserve the VIP are, which allowed us a great private dining experience. They have quite a bit of Italian comfort food on the menu as well as some interesting chicken, seafood, and steak offerings. I ordered the stoned chicken, which has a nice crisp skin, a bourbon sauce, rice, and steamed vegetables that included beans and asparagus. Parts of the chicken were a little rubbery, but the flavors were enjoyable. The prices aren't bad for upscale dining.

Ate lunch at Firehouse while exploring Harrisburg. Amazing old building that was a fire station in the 1800's! Very interesting history, cool antique firefighter items, and really good food. I highly recommend you visit Firehouse when you get a chance.
